Fabric Decal Wall Art VIDEO Tutorial

Oh yes my friends. Another video tutorial. This one is for us renters who can't paint or apply vinyl. (Vinyl takes the paint off my walls!) It's simple. You cut out fabric in whatever shape you want and using a cornstarch and water solution you slap it on the wall. I love how mine turned out. Now it's time to move the computer over to that wall and finish up my room!

And sorry for the night/day filming. The baby was less than cooperative this time around. And I got tired. See my tired eyes? Yeah. Aren't those pretty?

  2. Spectacular idea, I can't wait to try this. How do you deal with the edges of the fabric fraying?

  4. The starch keeps the edges from fraying. I would also love to try this with a spray starch as well. Hmmm... off to go experiment!
